Since the establishment of HMD Group, the firm has had considerable work experience in restaurant related projects, from new building construction to conversions and remodeling of existing facilities.

Paramount in our restaurant experience is our long-standing relationship with Darden Restaurants.  Since 1984, HMD has been actively involved in the conversion or remodel of over 1,700 restaurants across the U.S. including Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Smokey Bones, Wendy’s, Bahama Breeze, Cisco’s Café, Paul’s Bakery, La Carreta, Café Versailles, Bottega Grill, Franktitude, Capital Grill, Shells, TGI Friday’s and Season’s 52.

Although we specialize in restaurant design, HMD Group is well versed in commercial/industrial jobs, institutional/religious work and residential design.
